Office and Payroll Manager based in Weston-Super-Mare
An exciting opportunity to join an ambitious organisation who provide outsourced payroll solutions across the UK. My client is relocating his business from Herefordshire to Weston and needs to appoint his right-hand person ASAP.
This is a newly created position and the successful applicant will play a crucial role in the future growth of the business. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a vibrant and dynamic company. Responsibilities of the Office and Payroll Manager:
High volume weekly and monthly payroll runs.
Liaising with clients to ensure accurate timesheets and wages paid accordingly
Coordinating contract delivery.
General office and management support across the business
Regularly communicating with the Sales Team (who are based in London)
Responsibility for managing payroll including, P45, P11d, pension and statutory payments
Skills Required for the Office and Payroll Manager:
Highly IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Keen eye for accuracy
Excellent written and oral communication with staff, clients and suppliers
A confident, enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated team player with the flexibility and pace required to work effectively in a small team
Previous experience of working in a high volume payroll would be advantageous
Starting salary of between £20,000- £25,000 pa with 28 days holiday and a fun environment. The owner of this business is passionate about looking after his workforce. Regular social events and staff “perks”. Successful candidates will spend the first week away in Herefordshire for a training week.
