Today we take a look at some of the inspirational women in the built environment and beyond for International Women’s Day 2018. We celebrate leaders in their respective fields and commemorate those who pushed for women’s rights throughout history.
What is International Women’s Day
The event first started to campaign for better pay and rights for women, but is now aimed at inspiring females across the world. The theme this year is #PressforProgress. To find out more about this years event and how you can get involved check out the official website.
“We can’t be complacent. Now, more than ever, there’s a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity.”
