Construction manager salary hits record high
The latest pay survey of UK property professionals by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) suggests that the average salary in construction management has hit £81,609 – not including yearly bonuses of around £20,000.
According to the survey, which covered a total of 42 individual disciplines, all property professions base salaries grew on average by 12% within the year.
“More employers are placing greater focus on attracting and retaining talent, with attractive pay and benefit packages,”
explains Barry Cullen, RICS Diversity; Inclusion Director.
“The built environment continues to be an attractive sector to work in with professionals’ pay hitting highs not seen since the financial crisis.”
This is good news for the Construction sector as it continues to work hard to attract people to the industry.
